Happy Sunday everyone. Happy Father’s Day!
How are you guys doing today? I’m doing great, thank you very much. I started off my day with a 6 mile run.
My grandparents are visiting here from Canada and I am so happy to have them here. I love talking to them. They share a lot of wisdom. They only come visit once a year and it is really a special time when they come to visit. What I love is that they are more accepting of my “weird” eating habits.
As always, here’s a meal plan template for you guys to use.
UPDATED 02-2014 Hevil’s Healthy Devil- Meal Plan Template
Here is my plan.

Monday- 6 mile run + yoga
Tuesday- 6 mile run + strength
Wednesday- yoga
Thursday- 6 mile run + strength
Friday- 6 mile run + yoga
Saturday– yoga
Meals
Breakfast: oatmeal +pb+chia seeds +fruit
Lunch: leftovers from dinner OR veggie burger OR hummus and cheese quesadilla with whole wheat tortilla
Snack: kashi granola bar/ Clif Bar/fruit/granola (I love snacking on granola!)/Sun Chips/healthier baked goods I make
Dinner: brown rice, veggies, some sort of protein (most likely, egg)
Remember that my meals are usually tentative. It may change every once in a while and I may eat more food. Sometimes, my parents bring home food. Sometimes, I go to a family potluck (which we find out about the night before). I just go with the flow and choose the healthier options if I end up going out to eat.
As for my weekend, I already said that yesterday was mi cumpleaños. Yes, I will add Spanish randomly into my talking. I always add Spanish or Chinese words when I talk and sometimes, I don’t realize I do that. I realize it once someone says, “wait, what was that you said?”. Haha. It comes with knowing how to speak other languages.
Anyway, I celebrated by hanging out with my cousin. We went shopping, went out to eat, got a massage, and just hung out. We went dancing too. Everything I bought while shopping at the mall was on sale (so Asian of me). The massage was amazing, which I never had before. It was a nice treat for myself for my birthday. We also ate at the Cheesecake Factory and the food was so good! My cousin and I split a salmon egg roll appetizer thing and a Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta. It wasn’t spicy enough for me but it was good. After, we indulged and split a Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake. It was DELICIOUS. However, we couldn’t finish that whole slice. It was huge!
Sadly, I didn’t take any pictures. The lighting was a bit dim, so the pictures wouldn’t have turned out well anyway. I had a family birthday party last weekend.
