Happy Sunday everyone. How are you guys doing on this fine day? I’m doing great, thank you very much.
I started off my morning with a 6 mile run and doing a BUTI yoga workout. You guys seriously have to try BUTI yoga. It’s yoga, which combines tribal dancing and plyometrics. I will do a full review on it in a few months (so, in September or October), telling you guys about the results. But, what I can say is that it gets your hips moving a lot! If you are not used to dancing freely and letting yourself go, it’ll be hard to get into. But if you like trying new things and are energetic, this may be for you. When I first tried it, it felt so weird since I wasn’t used to dance and I was self-conscious. Now that I am doing it again, after taking ballroom dancing and doing more running, I really enjoy the workout. I like the twist it gives to traditional yoga.
Anyway, I shouldn’t get side-tracked. This post is about the meals and workouts for the week.
Here are my meals. Like I said before, this is tentative. I will follow it for the most part. However, sometimes things come up.
Here are my workouts for the week.
Sunday- 6 mile run + BUTI Yoga
Monday- 6 mile run + strength
Tuesday- 6 mile run + BUTI Yoga
Wednesday- BUTI Yoga
Thursday- 6 mile run + strength
Friday- 6 mile run + BUTI Yoga
Saturday– BUTI yoga
BUTI Yoga is so much fun! Sure, I do like the traditional yoga but this added twist is something I like too. If you like dancing, it is something you should try out. There is a video I shared on Friday’s post. Tell me what you guys think of it. Or you can try out this other workout routine she created.
What do you have planned for the week?
How was your weekend?
Are you going to try this type of yoga? It’s fun!
