Happy Sunday, everyone. How are you guys doing today? I am doing great, thank you very much. Let’s jump right into my meals and workouts.
Here is my meal plan for the week.
I have to remind you guys that this plan is not set and stone. It may change. However, it is nice to have a plan just in case you can’t think of anything to eat for a meal.
As for my workouts, I plan on running the Urban Cow Half Marathon again this year. It is in October, which means I have to start training for it soon! My time last year was 2 hrs 1 min 48 sec. I have to beat the 2 hour mark. That is my goal. Hopefully, I can accomplish it. Here is my plan.
I’ll start training for it starting August 3. It helps that I have been running 6 miles a day, 5 days a week.
I will be running this half marathon for sure. I know I said I would run a half marathon back in June but I realized that I couldn’t do it. I didn’t have the time and I was just too tired (from being anemic). It was a good choice since that day, it was 100 F!
Anyway, here are my planned workouts for the week.
Monday-6 mile run
Tuesday- 6 mile run
Wednesday- 6 miles
Thursday-6 mile run
Friday- 6 mile run
Saturday– 6 mile run? <- weekend plan still tentative
I guess that is it for now. Wish me luck on my half marathon goal of 2 hours or under. It is very helpful that they have pacers there. I’ll be doing my best to keep up with the pacers for the 1:55 time. It also helps that I am very familiar with the course.
