Happy Saturday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. I started my day off with a 6 mile run.
Anyway, I did not have time to post my workouts yesterday, so I am posting it today. Here it is.
As you can tell, my mileage is less than it was for my half marathon training. It’s also less than during the summer, when I ran an average of 6 miles, 5 days a week. The problem is that the only time I have to run is in the morning and it is dark in the early morning and I have to run on a treadmill (safety reasons). I dread running on the treadmill.
I also need to incorporate more strength and yoga into my routine, which is what I have been trying to do.
In other news, I think that the FAN Club is going pretty well. We have a few exciting events coming up, including Food Day! Food Day is October 24 but our club will be celebrating it at school on the 23. The 24 is a Friday and not many students go to school on Fridays is the reason. We also have a Feed My Starving Children event and we will be having a nutrition panel coming up. We’re so excited!
That is it for now. There is something that I will post about within the next week. Keep a lookout for it. It is something that all college students (especially nutrition majors but it can apply to all majors) to think about.
