Happy Friday everyone and Happy New Year! How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. I had work today but I also went out to lunch with my cousin in Old Sac. We ate lunch together last week in Cafe Bernardo. This time, we went to an Indonesian Restaurant. I ordered something with tempeh and brown rice. It was alright. There’s no need to share pictures since it didn’t taste amazing.
Anyway, sorry for getting off track. Here were my workouts for the week.
Not bad, in my opinion. As you noticed, I haven’t been doing the T25 workouts as much. I realized that I’ll do what I want for a workout. I also noticed that I like the beta workouts better than the alpha.
So, what did I end up doing on New Year? Spend time with family. I’m surprised I’ve stayed away from the college party scene. To tell you the truth, what’s the point in dressing in revealing clothing, putting on make up, and getting drunk? I don’t know. Doing that doesn’t help you in life, unless you like having dangerous fun or you want to find a potential partner. Then again, I wouldn’t want a partner that I met at a college party, if I ever go to one. Also, I don’t wear make up. It’s a waste of time to put on and a waste of money.
Sorry about that tangent. Anyway, yes, I spent time with family. Here are some pictures of me, of what we did that day. Walking around Old Sac and going to Global Winter Wonderland at Cal Expo. After, my family went out to eat. I ordered curry. I’ve been obsessed with curry.
This is the sweater and one of the two pairs of jeans I bought the other day.
The Winter Wonderland was so cold. I was freezing. That’s why I ordered curry after we went. It warmed me up! Look at some of the stuff there.
It was nice spending time with family. It’s also nice having family traditions.
Look at my pose. They had light sculptures of the animals in the Chinese Zodiac. I tried copying my animal, the dog.
I guess that is it for now. Here’s both of my half marathon pictures, from 2013 and 2014. I’ll be running the same race again this year. =)
I can’t wait for this years race! Oh, and here’s the Capital City Classic Race, 10 miles.
I also ran a 5 k in late October but I didn’t take a picture. It was raining. I have to say that my runs weren’t as good as the previous year but I’m still happy that I was able to run these races! My best time for the race would have to be the 5k. The year before, I only ran the half marathon but it was a good time.
Anyway, I am thinking about running another half marathon with my uncle at the end of March! It’s crazy, I know but I want to run it!
How were your workouts this week?
How’d you celebrate New Year?
