Fitness Friday 59

Happy Friday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing great, thank you very much. Well, except for the fact that I have a cold. I haven’t gotten a cold in such a long time (over a year). I absolutely hate it. I hope it passes soon.

In other news, it’s the Lunar New Year. I call it Chinese New Year. It was actually yesterday.  Normally, I would have posted something about the New Year but I’ve been busy. I’m so sorry. I made fa gao for the New Year. Mi novio liked it, which is good. The cupcakes aren’t as sweet as regular American ones, so I wasn’t really expecting a positive reaction to it.  I would have made the baked nian gao too, but we didn’t have enough ingredients and were too busy to go out and buy it. The recipe is from my old blog that I post on every so often.

Anyway, here’s were my workouts for the week. I didn’t workout today because I wasn’t feel so well and was so tired. It’s best to listen to your body, especially when you are not feeling so well.

Fitness Friday 2-20-15


I can’t really say much. Juggling work and school is hard and I’m doing the best I can. It’s even more difficult since my job is a day job. I have to take public transit to downtown, which takes up part of my time that I could have been working if my school was closer to downtown.

Anyway, I guess that is it for now. My next video post will be the 24 hour Recall video for my FACS107 class. I’m excited about this video but my voice will probably not sound good because I’ll still be getting over my cold when we record it. Oh well.

  1. Hope you get over your cold, especially with a 12 mile rune tomorrow! My workouts went fairly well — I was stuck at home because of snow and icy roads which cancelled school, but I managed to get them in.

    • I probably won’t understand how it’s like to live in places that snow but I sure bet it’s hard to get a workout in. I’d be too cold to even get out bed. Good job! =)
      And, I haven’t gotten over my cold yet. I ran 6 miles this morning instead of my usual long run since I’m still not feeling so well. I haven’t ran the past two days to give my body rest but I think working out is better when you want to get over a cold, just not a strenuous workout.
