Happy Saturday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. I haven’t been as running much lately and working out as much. I say that it’s okay to take 1-2 rest days a week. Sometimes, your body just needs a break!
Anyway, here were my workouts for the week.
Another thing I want to bring up is that I haven’t been waking up early to workout. It’s just so easy in the summer when I don’t have 8 am classes. I take public transit. I value my sleep more than waking up early to get a workout in (waking up at 4-5 instead of 5-6). I mean, I workout after work/classes but it is getting warm and I can’t run when it’s warm.
I guess I should switch up my workouts a bit and take more rest days (2 instead of 1 a week) until classes end this semester. It’s not the most ideal situation but I’ll see what I do.
In other news, I’ll be running a 10 mile run at the end of the month. I ran this last year as well. It’s the Capital City Classic. Wish me luck!
