Happy Friday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing pretty well, thank you very much. I have finals next week but I’m happy that I’m almost done with the semester.
Anyway, without further ado, here were my workouts for the week.
As you can tell, I haven’t been working out as much. I used to workout a lot more but my life has gotten a lot busier. I go to school full time, work, and hang out with my boyfriend a lot. Also, I have family occasions and obligations. Yet, it is still possible to find time to workout. All you need is 2 and 1/2 hours of exercise a week (for most adults). That’s about 30 minutes, 5 days a week. You can even split the 30 minutes into three 10-minute workouts if you don’t have much time.
So, we had fitness testing this week in my jogging class. You can say it is the “final” for the class. With everything going on in my life, I am pleased that I improved. My 1.5 mile time was faster. My flexibility stayed the same (no surprise) but I did more crunches and push-ups. What I was really surprised about was that my body fat composition stayed the same. I’ve been so busy with school, work, homework, and hanging out with my boyfriend that my eating habits and exercising habits aren’t what it used to be. I’m pretty sure that if I ate healthier and worked out more, my body fat composition would be lower and I would have improved even more with my fitness testing. I’m just happy that I fit in the exercise.
Anyway, I guess that’s it for now. Wish me luck on finals! I will be studying all weekend!
