Happy Saturday everyone! How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. I haven’t worked out this week as much as I would have liked. Actually, it’s been like that since the Spring semester started. School and work is really tiring. Also, during the summer, the heat gets in the way of working out. I do my best to get my workouts in though. I will be running 6 miles tomorrow.
It was 100 degrees on Monday! Running early that morning was terrible. It was already warm. My pace slowed down due to the heat. At least I finished my run. It’s always good to have a water bottle with you!
Also, my Thursday’s run was not good. I slept in that I didn’t workout in the morning. I was super stubborn and wanted to get a run in. I decided to run on the treadmill, in my garage, while it was 90+ degrees outside, at 5:30 in the afternoon. I had a fan blowing on me but it was super hot. I’m never doing that again.
So, that’s how my workouts went. I have to get better at waking up early to workout. It used to be so easy for me but now, things are getting in the way. School and work take up a lot of energy. I am happy I haven’t gained weight though. =)
