Happy Sunday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. I have been very busy and I am sorry that I haven’t been posting as much lately. It is sad too because I don’t have as much energy and time to workout. I am doing my very best to balance everything. I hope I will get back into the swing of things.
Also, I am probably not going to run the half marathon as I had planned to run. I haven’t trained for it. I am probably going to switch to the 5k run. Anyway, here were my workouts for the week.
Here is my plan for the week.
Monday- 4 mile interval run
Tuesday- core workout + weights + 4-5 mile run
Wednesday- Jillian Michael’s DVD or rest
Thursday- core workout + weights + 4-5 mile run
Friday- 4 mile interval run
So, my schedule changed again. It is finally finalized. I am so happy! There is a nutrition class at my school called Preconception to Childhood and I got into the class. It is an upper division nutrition class. Our Food and Nutrition major is impacted and everyone was trying to get it. The professors and the department were trying to figure out ways to accommodate all the student. So, after the 2nd week, last week on Saturday, the professor for that class emailed me saying that there was space available for the class. I was so happy that there was space. That meant I had a lot of work to do to catch up for those two weeks.
I accepted the invitation to be in the class and I spent a lot of time catching up for that class. I ended up dropping a psychology class I did not need so that I would have more time to study for that class. Figuring out school schedules is crazy! I will be working a little less now but I feel that school is more important. I do have time to go to they gym after my aerobics class. I will also have another break before my Sports Nutrition Class. Say hello to the creatine phosphate system, glycolysis, the TCA Cycle, and the electron transport system. It’s important to know which metabolic systems are used for which sport activity. There is a lot more to Sports Nutrition and I am very excited to learn more about it!
Anyway, that is it for now. Wish me luck!
What are your plans for the week?
How do you balance school, work, and life?
