Weekly Meals and Workouts 93

Happy Sunday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. I have the day off work tomorrow. Yah for a three day weekend. However, I start school again next week. It’ll be my last semester! I am so excited! This past year has gone by so fast. I cannot believe it. I’m pretty sure this year will go by fast as well. There are a lot of changes coming up this year for me. I can feel it.

Anyway, here’s my plan for the week. The meal plan will look a lot like last week’s meal plan. I ate leftovers from dinner all of last week. However, I will be making pasta this week to switch things up. Depending on the day, I’ll bring either one for lunch for work.

So, my breakfast will either be a breakfast burrito or Kashi cereal. I will be alternating between the two.

Workouts

Sunday-   6 mile run

Monday-  4 miles + abs

Tuesday-   HIIT Yoga

Wednesday- 5 mile run

Thursday- 3 mile run + strength

Friday- 4 mile intervals

Saturday- rest

I will see what I do for workouts this week. Depending on how I feel, I will switch things up. For sure, I will be keeping up with my long runs in preparation for my two half marathons coming up. I forgot to mention that I have a 10K race next month, the 7th. Go Superbowl!

I will be posting a picture of my pasta creation when I make it (whether it looks good or bad). It will be delicious though. I am trying to figure out what foods to make for lunch once school starts again. I will NOT have time to heat up lunch NOR will I have access to a refrigerator. I am thinking about sandwiches and pasta w/o meat in it. If you guys have any other suggestions, that would be great! I will be thinking of ideas but any suggestions would be great.

    • Mi novio and I go out to eat when we hang out. We usually eat at fast food places or casual dining restaurants. Del Taco, Free Bird, Red Robin, Chili’s, In N Out, and sometimes Asian restaurants (other places too but those are where we usually go). I always do my best to choose the healthier options though. It doesn’t help that mi novio isn’t into nutrition and health like I am so I do my best to accommodate him. I’m slowly trying to convert him to eating healthier. It’s not easy.

      • OH MAN … LETS JUST TALK ABOUT CONVERTING MEN INTO HEALTHIER EATERS… ha ha ha ha ha ah ha ha haa ha! OH MAN. It’s CHICK-FIL-A or a Cheese Burger or NOTHING for fiance! LOL! But the other night he made himself grilled chicken and a cabbage salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and I about fainted because it was so healthy LOL!

      • Haha. Men aren’t that bad at eating. I just think they don’t really care as much. Fried chicken, cheeseburgers, fries, chicken nuggets, oh goodness. Mi novio does eat some healthy stuff too. He eats fruit and some veggies. He’s soo picky though and doesn’t like trying new foods.
