It’s raining. It’s pouring. Yea, that is the weather right now where I live. I was so used to the sunny and warm So-Cal weather last week. Now, I’m back to rain. I’m hoping for sunny warm weather soon! The weather has been crazy, alternating between 70 degree weather and rain every week here.
Anyway, before I get into anything else, here were my workouts this past week.
I finally did squats on Thursday after not doing squats for a week and boy, was I sore the next day. You really do lose some strength and endurance if you stop working out. Even if it is just for a few days. It is good to have rest days but taking too many in a row will reduce your fitness level.
Well, that is it for now. I really have to stick to eating healthy and not eating out so much. My workouts are fine and I do plan on running a half marathon in October and continuing strength training. However, My results will be slow unless I eat right.
I admit that even though I have a degree in nutrition, I am still human. I do eat at home but I also make healthier choices when I do eat out.
