It’s Sunday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. Guess what, surprise, I ran a 10k race today! I surprised myself by deciding to run it last minute. I noticed that it went along with my training, so, why not. I didn’t expect a PR on this one since I haven’t run a 10k distance in a long time. However, it will help me when I run the 10k next month. I ran the Capital City Classic today and my time was: 1:05:17
I was hoping for a faster time. I started off with a 9:19 mile pace but then the weather hit me. It was so hot today. At least I did get a PR for my 10k run but it was still slower than what I wanted. I want to run a 10k in under an hour. At least my next 10k that I planned for, which is in two weeks, will give me another chance to reach my goal.
Anyway, here were my workouts last week.
I am so happy that I am pretty much sticking to my training plan.
