Happy Sunday everyone! How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. I haven’t been training well for my half marathon, apparently. See my workouts below.
I only ran once last week. The rest of time, I went on the elliptical. The problem is that I would rather run outside than on a treadmill at the gym. It gets too hot to run outside after work. That means that I have to wake up early to run (which I have to get used to doing again). I really need to up my running game so that I will be ready for my half marathon. Thursday was technically a rest day but I did dance that day (clubbing!). I still consider it cardio.
Well, that is it for now. I really do want to do a nutrition post that will help with half marathon training. It will come up eventually. I can say one thing for now about running nutrition. EAT YOUR CARBS AND HYDRATE. Carbohydrates are your friend during training.
