2017 – Fitness Friday 43 (on a Saturday)

It’s Saturday everyone! How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. This week has been crazy busy. I wish I posted more but it is what it is. Anyway, I watched the new Star Wars movie today and I enjoyed watching it. Do you guys like Star Wars?

So, let’s talk about my workouts now.

Fitness Friday 12-15-17

The one thing I am happy about this week is that I actually ran a little bit. I have been wanting to get back into running and I am slowly doing that. Another thing to is that, I will be doing the Shamrock half marathon with my friends in March. That means I really have to kick my running into gear!

So, I think my next nutrition post will be about holiday eating. I know that the holiday season is already half over but I think it’s still relevant.

Any suggestions on how to get back into running? It’s so hard when I am unable to run outside! It’s always dark before and after work, so I have to run on the treadmill. 


2017 – Fitness Friday 42 (on a Saturday)

Happy Saturday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. This week has been a crazy, fun, and busy week. My work’s holiday party was fun, hung out with friends, danced, went shopping, and watched the movie Thor.

Anyway, here were my workouts for the week.

Fitness Friday 12-8-17

I still haven’t reached my goal of running yet but I will have to start at some point. I plan on doing a Super Bowl 5 k and I do want to PR on it. That means I have to start running again soon.

2017 – Fitness Friday 41 (on a Sunday) + Weekly Meals and Workouts

It’s Sunday everyone! How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. It has been quite a weekend. I thought that it would be a lazy weekend where I wouldn’t have to go out. But, the weather was actually fantastic and there was stuff that I had to do! I love nice sunny weather.

Anyway, this weekend was the California International Marathon. My friend ran it without much training and she did an amazing job! I debated whether to sign up for the relay with a few other friends but at that point, they had already sold out. Oh well, Maybe next year.

Speaking of exercise, here were my workouts last week.

Fitness Friday 12-1-17

I really need to get back into my running routine. I should run at least twice a week. However, I’ve been lacking motivation. I do want to mix up my workout routine with running, elliptical, and stair master. We will see how that goes.

Speaking of which, here is my plan for the week.

20171203 Meal Plan + Workouts

So, my dinner is usually just brown rice and then whatever things my parents cook. There is always vegetables and protein. The protein is either chicken, beef, fish, shrimp, tofu, etc.  If there are leftovers, I take some. If not, I just buy lunch. As for breakfast, I eat whatever is around the house (what my parents buy). If I don’t want to eat what is around the house, I buy food myself. My breakfast varies a lot.

In regards to my workouts, I want to run and incorporate yoga into my routine. I have been feeling stiff lately, so it would be nice to add it. I’ll see how that goes.

Anyway, that’s it! I really hope to have more time to type up more nutrition posts.

2017 – Fitness Friday 40

Happy Friday everyone! How are you guys doing today? How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was good. I spent time with my family, which was nice. I ate a lot of good food too! I hope you guys enjoyed my Disneyland post.

Anyway, I am so happy that I am posting a Fitness Friday post on a Friday. It’s been a while. I have been busy that I wasn’t able to in the past. But since it’s the holidays, I do have some time off, which is nice!

Fitness Friday 11-24-17

I am hoping to run tomorrow morning but knowing how I have been lately, I may end up going on the elliptical again. I do and I don’t miss running. I just have to find a workout routine that I like that incorporates running once in a while.

Anyway, how was your guy’s Thanksgiving? Did you guys go Black Friday shopping?

I made a Sweet Potato Casserole to bring for my family’s Thanksgiving potluck. I have never eaten nor made one before so, it was interesting to see how it turned out. I think it turned out good, considering I never made it before and I don’t have all the fancy kitchen appliances to make it.


Other than that, I indulged, ate a slice of pumpkin pie and ate good food. I didn’t limit myself and I just enjoyed my food. I didn’t overeat though, since I let myself enjoy everything.

Happy Saturday everyone! How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. The holidays are coming up and I have been very busy. It’ll just get busier as it gets closer to the holiday season!

Week of  11/12/2017

So, the reason why I did not really workout that much this week is that I have been busy just living life. I went to Disneyland last weekend with my sister and it was so much fun! I also hung out with friends and was just busy doing things. My eating hasn’t been the greatest either but hey, I am trying to do the best that I can. Sometimes, you just have to live life!

Anyway, you guys may be confused about what “everything” means when I say that or what PIIT is. When I say “everything”, I mean the entire upper body. Legs is the lower body. PIIT is Pilates Intense Interval Training created by Cassey Ho of Blogilates. I usually do 2 videos (8 rounds) for PIIT but this week, I only did one round. Cassey Ho also developed this great Fit Planner that I purchased for 2018. It is on her popflex website (her brand of fitness clothing and accessories). I am hoping it will help me reach my goals, having this planner.

Anyway, that is it for this post. My next post will be about my Disneyland trip and the post after that will be about eating during the holidays.
