Happy Saturday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. This week has been crazy, with me adjusting to my new job. Anyway, I have been trying to keep up with my workouts and training for the half marathon. It’s great because there are some runners at my new workplace, which will keep me motivated.
So, here were my workouts this week.
I didn’t run too much this week but I’d figure I should at least get in two runs minimum for training. I am aiming to run at least three times next week.
I also wanted to mention that a nutrition post will be coming up some time next week. I am slowly working on it as I have time but I have been very busy.
How were your workouts this week?
It’s Sunday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing okay, thank you very much. I have been busy all weekend and finally have the chance to type up this post. I really think this post should be renamed unless I do more planning on my part to post this on Friday. I am sorry about the title not matching the day.
Anyway, here were my workouts last week.
I really should start running more days during the week. Anyway, I didn’t run today because I woke up a little too late. So, I’ll be doing my long run (6 miles) tomorrow. Instead, I went on the elliptical for an hour and a half at the gym (thank you Netflix for distracting me).
Anyway, some things I did this weekend was watching a movie, bowling, and going to a piano recital. Of course, along with doing the regular chores around the house. However, I do plan on trying to organize my time better to have more time for this blog. I’m thinking about setting alarms on my phone to start reminding me to do things.
That’s it for now.

Any tips on how to organize my time better?
It’s Sunday everyone! How are you guys doing today? I’m doing great, thank you very much. So much has changed and happened this past week. I’ve been so busy. I will update you guys later on that. Sorry I haven’t been posting recently. But for now, here were my workouts last week and my updated half marathon training plan.
I know I should start running more and I will. See my plan below. I’m sorry it’s small but you can click on it to see it better.
Well, that is it for now. I’m sorry I have to keep this short post.

What is your go to half marathon training snack and meal?
Happy Sunday everyone. How are you guys doing today? I’m doing great. I went on vacation with my family the past week, which is why I haven’t posted in a while. We went to the East Coast and traveled to New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Niagara Falls, Montreal, Quebec, and all over the place. We joined a tour. We had such a great time. My favorite was Niagara Falls!
To be honest, I only worked on once during my vacation (the circuit workout). You know what? That is okay with me. I started back up with my workouts after I came back. I will also post an updated half marathon training plan. It won’t be too different from what I had originally posted.
Anyway, before I get into anything else, here are the workouts I did do while I was gone.
Week of July 16, 2017 (vacation started on Wednesday)
Week of July 23, 2017
It did feel nice to take a week off from working out. I feel like every once in a while, it’s okay to take a week off from working out. It’ll give your body a break and you will feel more motivated to workout once you take that break.
Anyway, that is it for now.
Do you workout while on vacation?
Where do you want to vacation to?
Happy Sunday everyone! How are you guys doing today? I’m doing alright, thank you very much. I haven’t been training well for my half marathon, apparently. See my workouts below.
I only ran once last week. The rest of time, I went on the elliptical. The problem is that I would rather run outside than on a treadmill at the gym. It gets too hot to run outside after work. That means that I have to wake up early to run (which I have to get used to doing again). I really need to up my running game so that I will be ready for my half marathon. Thursday was technically a rest day but I did dance that day (clubbing!). I still consider it cardio.
Well, that is it for now. I really do want to do a nutrition post that will help with half marathon training. It will come up eventually. I can say one thing for now about running nutrition. EAT YOUR CARBS AND HYDRATE. Carbohydrates are your friend during training.
